THE PURSUIT OF BEAUTY [ TRAILER ]

Pursuit of Beauty is a creative nonfiction, documentary short focusing on one woman's desire to see the good amidst the mayhem of modern society. This script motivated piece tells the story of planar painter Lisa Martin who uses her thirst for adventure and her passion for art to search out new vantage points from which to reflect on the average American lifestyle. Following Martin for two weeks of her arduous adventure over mountains and through valleys, Pursuit of Beauty draws attention not to the exhausting climbs, nor to the admirable motivations of her work, but rather to the positive aspects of getting outside her - and our - comfort zones.

Better [ TRAILER ]

Produced as part of The Sonder Collection in partnership with Boulder County CO, Better is a nonfiction, documentary short focusing on the opportunity for one small town to fully embrace its diversity. Boulder County, Colorado has a reputation for being one of the healthiest, most active, educated, and wealthy communities in America. But this is only half the story. There are families struggling with poverty, teenagers who are victims of bullying, and immigrants who are harassed. Better tells that story through the voices of the individuals living on the margins of society. Within their stories arises an opportunity for Boulder County to embrace its diversity and to be better - for all of us.

NOTHING BUTT WASTE : A CHANCE TO CLEAN UP OUR ACT

Join us this spring to produce a film about environmental crisis caused by cigarette butts left littered around the world. Contributing to nearly 25% of the garbage collected in this country, more than 300 billion cigarettes are purchased in the United States ever year and nearly 100 billion of those are dumped in waterways, parks, and streets where they fail to biodegrade. Still somehow socially acceptable, littering cigarette butts is an act of environmental degradation practiced across lines of age and race and gender. Together we’ll take an intimate look at the cumulative effect of chemistry and culture on our planet and identify an opportunity to collectively clean up our act.
